Hi, my GPS at some point did work (when i was on pr1.1) i dont use it very offen at all, i thught i would try the speedometer app and it just does not pick up any satelites at all.

help please

Go outside? Try other Applicatin for GPS, one that provides information regarding satellites in view?

Sorry shuld have said i have tried several laces outside aproxx 3 miles apart

Without data connection it takes 3-5 minutes to lock in good conditions. You can install the "location test" app to really check it. Search for that--there has been much discussion.

I use GPSJinni to check GPS receiver status.
A few people have posted that leaving GPSJinni on (in background) seems to help applications that lose communication with the GPS receiver often.
