You won't see your messages if you are using the N900 as the phone and PC suite are not fully compatible. They are soon to be releasing the latest Ovi Suite and IIRC you can see your messages in that one.

How long do you think it will take for the new OVI to come out?
And is there no other way to see your messages from he pc?

Really?.. Where you have that from

Nokia is on a really deep **** troubled waters these days and anything they should or could do they don't do. Like see they develop Camera api **** for the N900 that maybe 0,5% of the geek owners are interested inn and that's it. Its a great phone, released by a Nokia running downhill backwards and blindfolded.

Not sure, but the Beta testing is now closed after three iterations of the suite being released to Beta-testers, like I was. Shouldn't be too long before it goes full release.

From the Beta testing period, if you had been there and registered you may have been a beta-tester yourself and therefore able to feedback to Nokia on their shortcomings in Ovi-Suite

Nice synopsis. But I'm one of those geek owners who cannot stand the lossy compression settings used to convert the sensor data into a jpeg - and considering that this phone uses an 85% quality setting when you dig into the code, it's a bit of a pisser. To allow the sensor data to be captured in *.dng format is great, meaning lossless image quality and the ability to edit within an Adobe CameraRaw environment, ultimately resulting in MUCH better quality photos and memories.

But then I'm just 0.5% of the N900 owners who happens to be a geek. Apparently.

No, I don't think the betas ever had this feature supported. Don't know the source of that claim though.
