So I accidentally found symfonie and was surprised to find that it has an equilizer. I used it and decided to write a review on my blog www.maemo-reviews.com

symfonie is a music player application for the Nokia n900. This application is still in the testing phases so the features and performance are limited.
The main point of this application is to play music by folders and not by artist, album, genre or other information embedded in the music files.
Continue the review here: Maemo Reviews to see what's good and bad about it

tell me what you think and if you have any suggestions for future reviews or any tricks/ tips that i should post on my blog.

There is no option to play music by album or artist as you mentioned and for me that makes it limited cos I usually only like 2-3 songs per band and with over 2 gigs of music that´s a lot of folders! Sooo.. I rarely use it. Equalizer´s nice though.
