Guys,

I currently have a Linksys WRT54GL router running ddwrt. I have had terrible problems doing sip calls with this router. The audio gets minced 5 seconds into the call. My sip server (tried freeswitch/asterisk) is on the same local network.

Could the community please recommend a router which works well with sip calls?

Thanks

With n900 ? or general ?

If General -> D-Link DIR-655 works fine. Have been using this for 1 year++ and my SIP calls works fine.

For N900 -> its good with skype, but with SIP sometimes the other party can not hear. s

@rajil.s

its strange, i have the same router (wrt54gl 1.0 to be precise) with ddwrt v24 preSP2 (Build13064), the vpn subversion

and i use SIP calls everyday, with excellent results

i have to admit that my house is really small so i have almost no wiring to my modem and no distance in wifi from my n900 to the router

I use the same version of ddwrt although the generic build "
DD-WRT v24-sp2 (10/10/09) std - build 13064". Do you run your own box or do you use a voip provider? Also, do you have Power Saving Mode disabled?

Cheers
