I know numbers mean nothing as quality > quantity but anyone know how many Maemo is sitting on exactly? Just to see where we would stand on the chart.

your post made me realize something...the ovi store is supposed to be the place where I download apps for the N900, but the truth is I don't think I've downloaded a single app from there! all my apps come from maemo.org repos

It's interesting to compare but like anything on the internet its accuracy shouldn't be thought much of, theres no way the Apple store would even come 1/10th close in data to P2P, or even butTorrent on its own.
