As u can see from the post itself my battery went from 41% to 73% when it was put in idle.....battery came to 41% after
1.15hrs - video
45mins - calling
35mins - music and some usual playing with my n900(25mins) from a full charge(95%).

after my nightshift i went to sleep at 7am and woke up at 2pm.

i noticed my battery graph was almost flat for a long time till 12pm since i didnt use it(idle).

from 12pm to 1pm it went from 41% to 73%(more than 30% increase) without doing anything.

am seeing this behaviour for some time, but 30%+ increase in battery is huge.

Am happy that its happening this way....

Anybody xprienced this same issue(not an issue actually)???

i think the battery % is calculated based on how much power your consuming, that's why when you stopped using the phone after some heavy use, the % went up. but i don't think anyone knows for sure.

So if you have an iPhone and you spend a few hours taking some phone calls, the amount of time it predicts you have left takes into account the movie that you're about to decide to watch? How does it do that?

I know if I run something power hungry (eg GPS + 3.5G) then I sometimes get an extra bar back on the battery icon after closing app. But a 30% increase would mean several bars, and that I've never seen.

Maybe the aliens are charging your N900 for you when you're asleep
