but did you know that a computer can vnc into a n900 by just installing 1 package?
all you need is a n900,a computer with ultra vnc installed in it : http://http://www.uvnc.com/
turn on your n900 and activate the extras-devel repository.
* Application manager --> Application catalogs --> New
* Catalog name: Maemo Extras-devel
* Web address: http://repository.maemo.org/extras-devel
* Distribution: fremantle
* Components: free non-free
now wait for it to refresh.
then go to the "all" catagory.
and download a package called "x11vnc"
install it.
then download personal ip address from (i forgot the repository) i think extras.
then u set up your ultra vnc viewer on pc with the ip address on the n900 appearing in the home screen. NO NEED FOR USERNAME/PASSWORD.
then you open x11vnc
you may see this behaviour:
but thats ok.
now that allows your pc to connect to n900 by vnc.
now simply select the connect screen on ultra vnc viewer and you see the n900 screen!!!!
yay thats it!
BTW: I DID NOT DEVELOPE THIS PACKAGE
