3 times in the last 2 weeks Nokia Email on N900 has re-delivered emails from my yahoo account back to my inbox.

These are emails that ive deleted weeks ago, but are being redelivered back to my Nokia Email account.

Anyone else experience this? and why are Nokia keeping email that I've deleted weeks ago.. worrisome..

When is Nokia going to fire someone over this, a company that does not take email seriously cannot be trusted period! When the new CEO comes in, this should be first order of buisness. Email is taken very seriously by end-users

I have comcast email account on N900 and it does the same thing and eventually i am just tired of it and didn't even bother to check email anymore and just do it on my pc. I think it needs a filter of some sort or spam filter.

The question is, are you using POP3, and have it set to "leave a copy on mail server"?

I had the same problem one day last week with all of my gmail accounts. Several emails would be redelivered and I got repeated notifications of new email arrivals. These emails all seemed to be lumped together from the same day when they were orignally delivered. I got so tired of the false new emails that I disconnected and reconnected a few hours later. Hasn't happened since.

I'm using the service "Nokia Email" which does delete from the actual source. I check the web yahoo interface regularly and for sure emails deleted from 2 weeks back were being redelivered by Nokia in one big transaction

Nokia is definitely keeping deleted emails....

The solution for Nokia is simple: each time email is down or BS re-deliveries.. fire(not demote) a manager if it happens twice under their watch (unless its a rare hard-ware failure where primary and backup goes down)

Mmm 10 days of deleted(actually deleted from yahoo) yahoo emails redelivered again today...

Starting to wonder if Nokia can be trusted with my email password, If their actual service is this shaky I'm suspecting their security controls might be very lax also.. looks to be run by a bunch amateurs...
