First I am unable to fully comprehend either of you. Please re-read your posts. I realize I am often guilty of it as well but it is difficult to troubleshoot a problem, when I am not fully clear on where the problem is.
Now then, is the problem with ?:
(a) the Maemo environment
(b) the EasyDebian chroot environment
(c) Both
Additionally, which version of Maemo do you have (Diablo, Fremantle, Harmatten [joking] )?
Which version of EasyDebian? Current version?
Any error messages?
Any output at all would help.
Otherwise, seeya.

when i go to the app manager it says "no applications available" and it doesn't update anything. I recently installed the easy debian and downloaded the 2 GB image.
i tried disabling the maemo extras respiratory but there was no change. Is it because the easy debian file?
if yes is there a way to uninstall and remove all the debian files?
please does anyone know how to solve the problem?? i need help i've been trying to solve it for more than a week with no luck
thanks in advance
