Hello Everyone,
I havnt seen/heard of many problems with the kick stand, but for about the last week or so, when i hold my phone with the screen facing up, the kickstand drops out about a quarter of the way.

i have the feeling that im missing the magnet that keeps it completely closed..

Has anyone had similar problems?

I haven't heard of anyone having this problem.

I think you're best off taking your device to a Nokia Care point and asking if you could get that fixed in the warranty. I don't imagine it to be a biggie to fix your problem!

A few people have reported losing the magnets, I can see you have the one on the back of the phone, have you had a look to see if the magnet on the back of the kickstand is still there?

3 options really;
See what your Nokia Carepoint says,
Buy a new back or,
replace the magnet yourself (guide here http://forum.dailymobile.se/index.php?topic=20949.0)

My kickstand doesn't go in completely, i have to force it. But fortunately, it doesn't drop out.

I had the exact same problem, but to my luck, the magnet from the stand had attached itself to the one on the back of the phone.

I was able to put it back into the stand a hold it in place with a small piece of clear tape.

It sucks, that it has become loose, but with the tape, I haven't noticed the issue in a couple of weeks.

Interesting. As preventative maintenance, it might be a good idea to fill the gaps between the magnets and the plastic case with super glue or epoxy glue (although you'd have to be really careful to not get any glue anywhere it shouldn't be).
