I've had two of these break on me now, both caused by the wire being too thin. The first one broke just below where the cable entered the charger the insulation began to fray and eventually the internal wire broke. I soldered that back together, but didn't do an amazing job and that eventually broke again without leaving enough room to re solder. The next one lasted well, until it got caught in a hoover, and, well, it doesn't appear to be designed for that.

These were quite early chargers (got one with my 770 early Oct 2005, the second Christmas 2005). The design of my friends N95 charger looks a fair bit sturdier, and smaller!

I now use a car charger I picked up in an Italian service station, the mini nokia charger is still quite hard to find when traveling in continental Europe.
