is it possible to get the Java-Plugin on the N900 Browser? I'd like to login some sites which needs Java (No Login? - Get Java here)

Not sure of the status of it, but there appears to be a thread mentioning java.

The real question is, do you need Desktop-flavour Java, or Mobile-Flavour Java?

I only want a plugin for my Browser, some sites need it. I don't want to play JavaGames.
i would say desktop-flavour.

IceWeasel (i.e. unbranded Firefox from Debian, available in EasyDebian) has Java applet support. It's a bit slow to start, but it does seem to work.

IceWeasel (i.e. unbranded Firefox from Debian, available in EasyDebian) has Java applet support. It's a bit slow to start, but it does seem to work.
it does work, I use it to download from bitlet

It seems the OP is talking about Java SE, which is the desktop version that has a browser plugin (for Applets).

Yeah it's in EasyDebian. You can install EasyDebian by following the instructions here. Once you've done that IIRC it will actually put IceWeasel in the applications menu for you and you can launch it straight without having to start EasyDebian/LXDE. The whole thing is a bit convoluted but if you absolutely must have Java support it will work.
