The display command is from the ImageMagick package, which does not come with the n900. AFAIK ImageMagick is not available on the n900.
Just to be clear, there is no display command on the n900, so that is not a way to display images from the terminal on the n900.

is there a command for launching pictures from terminal? i tried image-viewer /******.jpeg but its not working
