Hi Steve,

hope you've seen my post?!

But know some good news - Nitdroid runs perfectly with 2.6.28-06 Kernel and the updates, nice work - keep on this power of work!

it should work without any mods. Actually, the instructions should pick up latest power kernel anyway, not just 39!

enjoy!

For some reason though at the moment, it is telling me that I don't have a data connection when trying to sign in to my Google Account.

I'll be telling the other devs how to do it soon, first I'll see if I can make it let me sign in to my Google Account so it can be packaged in with the next NITdroid release.

Edit: I'll release a video soon.

Edit2: I have told the other devs how its done. Thanks goes out to the MeeGo team and Nokia who put in all the effort to get the n900 modem working in ofono, which allowed us to get this working.
I don't realy know why do you need to do task that is already complete. And not maemo binary, Android (native) one.
With voicecalls, SMS, USSD working properly (and GPRS too, just not tested at ur posting time).

>I have told the other devs how its done.

?????

DJ_Steve has phone signal a while ago. But was not working right. This is older news. But was only mentioned briefly.

Once the phone part works with the data connection I will be using Nitdroid for my day to day usage, every once in a while reverting back to Maemo.
After using Nitdroid for a while I remember now how convenient it is to use the phone either in portrait or landscape.
Thank you THE TEAM
