CELTX is this really cool cross platform screenwriting program. Part of what makes it cool is it's open source. It's built on top of firefox. It has a server function where you can basically pick up the script anywhere, or collaborate with anyone.

I really don't have the time to start setting up a scratchbox environment. Is anyone out there willing to give a shot at compiling it for N800? The source is available at www.celtx.com.

- attempt at configure fails under Mac OS X 10.3.9:

configure: error: --enable-application=APP is required

subsequent attempt at build fails w/GTK errors (other GTK apps build fine)...

:-(

- no real docs either in a README or INSTALL in the src package...

- client looks interesting...

Thanks for giving it a shot. I'll copy your post into the CELTX message boards. Is there anything I should add to it?

I've got my Igo keyboard, and I'm ready to write.

Did anything ever happen with this?

I'd love to know if anyone ever got a version of Celtx to work on the N800...

I second this. I have been looking at using this program for some short multimedia projects and it seems like it would be perfect for portable use to be on site and mobile with all your information.
