after reading a lot and taking into consideration that nokia will not develop anything for n900, ill just stick to mine until it breaks or stops working, then ill just go android.... or even iphone....

I have used N900 and E75 together and E75 is owned by my employer. I'm taking N8 to replace E75 and I have already tested it and it was very good even there was beta firmware and prototype hardware.

N900 will always remain with me irrespective of Nokia's support.

No N8 for me and I am not planning on the N9 either. Has nothing to do with MeeGo but Nokia has disappointed me over and over again starting with N97. I am just so suprised that a company can axe their own foot so hard when everyone else is trying to be competivite.

Android is the future (for now). iphone is for pussies.

i have a canon eos 550d for shooting 18mp photos and 1080p HD videos, so dont need a 12pm camera on a phone,
and ill never go back to symbian, dont like the look of meego either, or android, so it looks like im stuck with my trusty n900 for a couple of years

lol pretty much likewise leetut not use a camera only that on my n900 and symbian ? never again spent so many years there cant return !! meego looks too basic and end user orientated for me too love the "under the bonnet" experience of the n900 will keep my n900 for a while yet like until my 2 year contract with t-mobile is up anyway ! cant do anything till march 2012 !!

n8 is based on symbian, I am going to wait for the n9. I will not go back to symbian. Ever.
err.. Its already confirmed that the N9 is nothing more than the N8 with a keyboard with only a 8Mpix camera. Which makes it... Symbian

Care to share the source ? There is nothing confirmed about the N9. If you refer to the technobuffalo device, that's an N8 variant as seen from the product code.

Thanks for all the posts, and I have to be honest I thought from early images that the N8 was going to have the qwerty keypad. I am now reading that it is unclear if it was pulled from the N8 or is a possible N98.
Nice pic here
