Hi,

downloaded and installed bt-plugin
and need urgently to modify it to scan more than 1 bluetooth gps unit in proximity and switch from one connected no-fix gps unit to another gps unit to get fix under various environments.
by-plugin is already gps scanner like byscanner.
But I need to test some bluetooth gps units with maemo mapper
and than generate and record/log satellite signal level report for each specific gps unit.
If signal quality is low, no fix, I need extra script to by-plugin, to disconnect low-signal gps unit and switch to another gps from the list of scanned gps units and connect automatically and get satellite signal levels and fix again, recording data to log file.

Please tell me how complicated and time consuming such modification of by-plugin is , could be and what sdk environment should I employ to start up.
Frankly speaking I amk not much experienced to succeed , so look for third party assistance.
