Hi Guys, been a long time reader of this forum but have never posted.

Have have had a massive, all be it very stupid () problem with my N900 today. I pulled it out of my pocket only to find out that my bank card (see picture) had gone through the screen / keybord connecting section. Since then there has been no power or any kind of responce from the top section of the N900. I'm guessing it's probably knocked some sort of connector out from between the screen and main body secton. Does anyone have any experience with the N900 hardware side of things and have any idea what might have happend? Any help is appriciated

You probably just disconnected the ribbon cable that connects the top section to the bottom section.

Take the back cover off and unscrew the six small phillips head screws around the top and bottom of the device. This will allow you to remove the top section. You'll see the ribbon cable. Just reattach it.

On a sidenote, the n900 IS a hardware problem.

I hoped it would something as easy as this! Gonna give it a try tomorrow.
I have no experience in this, but surely not much can go wrong!? Wish me luck
