Hi.

I'm pretty new in Qt programming using the Qt Creator on windows 7 and so I hope you could assist me somehow...

Well, I already got the Nokia Qt SDK installed, also I'm able to run written apps directly on my N900 through the Qt Creator. The problem is the created *.deb file is not compatible with the N900...

...I have learned, that this is caused cos of it's not build on an ARM machine... So I need an Emulator or Simulator... Here I'm getting lost.
- inside QT Creator the button 'Start Maemo Simulator' is somehow greyed out...
- I got Some 'Qt Simulator' installed, it only starts when starting the exe file...
- Then a read i need 'QEMU' google found me some 'qemu manager, lot of different qemu versions, then i totally lost it...

I tried again the other day and found out, that
Code:
 mad remote -r rx51-fremantle-pr12 poweron
inside MADDE will start an emulated N900 on my win7 machine.
Does that help me somehow?

I'm just looking for that way to make my Qt Creator, created *.deb files installable on the N900.

Thx for your help.

//EDIT:
Oh, i set up Qt like it's written here: http://doc.trolltech.com/qtcreator-s...ing-maemo.html

Hi,

just to avoid misunderstanding. MADDE is a cross compilation tool, which is able to create a binary/package, which is compatible with your Maemo device. Qt Creator, as part of the Nokia Qt SDK uses this tool to prepare your package for the N900. If you have still questions after reading the guide let us know. Further information about MADDE you will find in the maemo.org wiki.
