This latest leak is the real N9 running MeeGo.
I said in the other thread where part of the UI were leaked that that is Symbian4 which in fact it is
;-)
I'm talking about that other thread its not symbian^4 and if its no MeeGo then its probably just old concept UI they was testing on people.
i bet they have millions of these interactive simulated concept UI

Surprised people like how this looks. I hate it. Looks like an N8 with a keyboard and I hate the N8 look.

This leaked pics promting new questions for me:
  • Will they continue to work on the backcover? - There are 4 holes... is there something missing at this device?
Personally I will never buy again a device without camera shutter or cover. It's a blocker for me.

  • How will the italian/germany/french keyboard layout look like?
I miss seperate up/down keys at my device a lot.
  • And finally:
When will we see such a device with a resistive touchscreen?

It certainly takes a Chuck Norris or two to cut anything with that one!

Slim?

Just look at the first photo where it is held in hand. See the sloping edges both top and bottom that create an illusion of air[apple tm]-like thinness.

Now look at bottom edges of both the main body and the screen (not the thinnest in itself) and consider the tapering/sloping of the edges again plus account for a small gap between the two sections.

It all adds up to some girth don't you think?

Still, of course it's slim compared to Nokia's current offerings...

And the screen, size and resolution.... ~4 inches with a very prominent bezel. Will ~4 inches be comfortable in the current Nokia top-of-the-line 800x480 resolution, or will Nokia resort to the N8's nHD 640x360 ??

Well there's still E7 to be announced that will look exactly like that.
I like the clean aluminiun front alot. Back is something i don't really like. One insider was saying that there will be at least black color and some more next to this. Plus this device would be very early proto.
That chinese page that leaked this is saying that N9 screen resolution would be 1280x720.

I can read(and speak and write) chinese.

General summary
-Some think that it looks like a 16:9 screen (one has supposedly measured it and claims that it is 16:9)
-One thinks it has a resolution of 1280x720
-Some think it has the nHD resolution
-Some think it has the 854x480 resolution
-Some whinge about the small battery
-The OP states that it doesn't match with the new set of blueprints.
-The OP states the entire thing is mostly metal except for the screen, the keyboard and the two pieces flanking the battery cover.
-Made in Finland
-Same person who think it has a 720p screen res suggests a 1/1.7-1.8 camera module... like the N8.
-Some say they can't spot the CPU and eMMC on the PCB.
-OP suggests that it will go on market in the 48th week of this year.
-Another claims that the screen resolution is likely 720p in order to suit porting of Qt apps from S^3 and S^4.
-Another claims that this does not run MeeGo.

Edit : Those people that don't understand chinese, please refrain from commenting. Don't confuse the others - pretty sure they're easily confused - I refer to the 1.7GHz fiasco + N9 user rendered image etc.

I must say the new blueprint part is inducing.

Well yeah that was the joke. That black round back and silver front do create a bit of a illusion. I would say something like 13-14mm maybe?
As far as the resolution it will more than probally be 800x480. Reason why N8 uses nhd is because of the compatibility with old Symbian apps, but that doesn't exist with MeeGo like it didn't with Maemo. S^4 wont have that problem anymore either.
