Right on.

ya after trying to install rtorrent. I quickly found out that it is not so simple using libtorrent on maemo. A whole lot of the dependences are in devl witch is not good. That leaves too many places for it to brake.

edit: owe, I guess Transmission dose use libtorrent too.

**** the Qt client... I tried it the other day and the Transmission devs focus on the GTK GUI.
Qwert12, I am sure you have had a look at this new version Transmission 2.03 developed by OptX.. what are your suggestions ?? please give ur valuable feedback..

My engl. is not the best, but as far as i understand, is qwerty12 leaving.
I read some statements from qwerty12, and i do understand him.
I could have asked him for help, but did not, because i think that he could have port this waaay faster then anybody, if he would like to.
This is just a quick and dirty port atm. so no need for qwert12 to look into ........ will see how far i get.

try to catch up with charles_ on #transmission irc.freenode.org (he is the developer) or at T forums, there are a lot of people willing to hel there as well.

P.S. <charles_> ZogG: the people who think the Qt client gets short shift compared to the GTK+ client will like 2.10

So it would be much easier to port qt version i think

You want Qt ?
Come get some
I gave the Qt client a go, but some of the Letters are too big and the buttons look squeezed
It looks like both (gtk+ & qt) have a problem with that screen resolution. Qt is squeezed, gtk+ is not scrollable in some places.
Hope to find out how to get it going.
I tested to change the gtk+ one by using some stuff from qwerty12 patches, but it does not compile atm. (gives me a error that something is wrong in a more than 1200 lines file )
Since they changed a lot in the source, not all of his patches fit anymore.
I dont give up

Here are some screenshots of the qt one :

Looks like im getting somewhere
I have to rearrange some menu's inside transmission, because the font scales down to a horrible and unreadable size, when there is too much inside the menu, so i splitt it up.
I have the whole week nightshift, so im not having much extra time for transmission. Will be done shifting on monday, and then putting all my free time into transmission to get it ready.
