Well.. if it's a general consensus for a smaller graphic in favor of larger text.. I can definitely do that.

What I may do instead, with your layout, is change the numbers to be the sliding bar that is seen in both the default media player and in MediaBox, if that's what people would prefer. I know it was requested once.

That would make font size moot as it would be a more graphical representation than numerical.

The volume control button will need to wait a bit.. I have to research that one a little more to see (probably via dbus) how to manipulate the volume directly. I'm not sure I like it pushing the radio list to off-center... I'm a symmetric/boxy guy... I like things to fit nicely into nice boxes (totally a personal preference.. nothing making any way better or worse)..

However, I could maybe add a second slider to the right side all the way up to be the volume.. pushing all the buttons over like you said.

That way we have a slider on the right, a slider on the bottom left, a smaller album graphic up top and the controls in the middle-ish.

Course.. then... what the heck do I do with my portrait mode interface lol .

I'm fine with everything you said above: I didn't pay too much attention to keeping the layout symmetric, but I agree with you that it generally looks better. It's just that the fonts are too small to be easily read from a distance, as they are currently. My N800 is sitting on my desk, and I have to lean in to read them.

I like the idea of a slider, though the danger with a slider for the elapsed time is that the user might think they can scrub back and forth through the song, which is a Pandora no-no. Plus, knowing how long the song is, in minutes, is often handy. So I guess I'd say I would prefer text there.

Could you (in your copious free time that I've acquired the rights to by sending you that token amount of money... ) please add a debugging option to the command line that outputs more status info? I've gotten several more "freeze-ups" but there were no error messages.

New version up. Hopefully the skipping is fixed.

You might like the new interface .

I'll add more prints throughout the program to try and help.. though some freeze-up's may be MAFW trying to buffer and getting stuck.. I've not found a way to get any information from that. Even having the default Media Player up I can watch the buffering status and it just hangs at a certain point never moving.

Is the buffer full in your command line output when it's frozen?? The buffer level already prints.
