i myself use ubuntu 10.04 but the thing is that i dont clarify it as a full operating system that can stand alone without dual booting with windows or mac, there are tons of apps that i use in windows that are not in ubuntu like photoshop

I've yet to find something that photoshop can do that the gimp can't (not that I've been specifically looking)... maybe your experience is different?
What other windows/mac apps are (in your opinion) stopping linux from being a "full operating system" by their absence?
