Hi all

I've a bug too. I can't had a shorcut for application with space in his name. I can select the name in the list but i can't apply.

I've tested with:
Mobile Maps 9
Search Tool
System Event Scheduler
Timed Silencer
Tracker Cfg
Transition Control

Thx for your application, I like it.

I just tested search tool and it launched without problem. I've also tested a plethora of other applications with space in their names without problems.

Which version are you using? Perhaps you have the settings dialog open?

Maybe I've found a little bug. I have 2 Dr Launch widgets in the same desktop. After a while one of them stop autorotating but the other worked without any problem. Buttons still worked, I tried to reconfigure, use animation, but nothing changed.

I had to remove and re-add the non-rotating widget and it began to work again.

Still testing.
Please notify me if it happens again. I'm using 2 (and even 3) instances of DrLaunch and I haven't had any problems yet. Also, make sure that you're not testing it while the settings dialog is open.

Hi, I've tested it extensively both with only one instance and with two instances of Dr Launch.

Sometimes the autorotation of one of the widgets stop working, sometimes it's both which stop rotating. I haven't been able to determine the situation in which they stop rotating.

Once a widget stops rotating, launching applications from it still works. Configuration screen can be fired up, and I can add/remove buttons or change animation or long press features, but autorotation won't work any more for that widget.

Only when rebooting, restarting Hildon desktop or removing and readding the widget to the desktop, the autorotation will start working again.

I have tested that it happens both with the default theme and with the Dark Plastic Theme.

My list of installed widgets:

- Bluezwitch
- Calendar home widget
- Connectnow (two instances)
- Personal dataplan monitor
- Personal IP address
- Touchsearch
- OM Weather
- Media Player widget

Hi Guys,

Great little widget, not having any problems with it.

But I do have a couple of comments I'd like to make.

1) In the setup, once selected is there or can there be an easier way to organize the icons without having to search through the list and re-selecting them.

2) Can the spacing be made adjustable ?

3) Can it also use the theme background ( it doesn't need to rotate the background just the icon ) I'm using Black Plastic DeepPurple and it would look great if it matched.

4) I have added Siggy and the icon when added to DrLaunch is pixelated ( is that the right spelling ? ) and does not look as smooth as the original.

Thanks again.

Any updates about borderless slots with theme background icons for a nicer view?

I didn't manage to find how to do it. The problem is that I can't find out the location of the current theme's background icon. Do you have any idea on how to locate the icon? As far as I understand, each theme stores its icons in a different place.

Maybe you could ask D-Iivil for this!?
He is one of the most experienced theme makers (like http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=57456).

thanks for this great apps. i just noticed the flashlight icon does not work. unfortunately, i can't add the flashlight icon on the desktop independently(it does not show on desktop menu) to know if it is a problem with the icon itself or with Dr launch.
any help will be appreciated.
how do you modify list of application shown on desktop menu?

The background icon for desktop shortcuts for each theme is located under
/opt/usr/share/themes/the-theme-name/images/
The png files under this directory to look for are:
"ApplicationShortcutApplet.png" & "ApplicationShortcutAppletPressed.png"
(name self explanatory I hope although I personally prefer the blue effect when pressing).
Also since some themes change icons for default applications like phone, conversations etc, I noticed that adding them through drlaunch shows their original icons NOT the new ones.Known? Intended?

Not related to DrLaunch. The issue lies with flashlight itself. If you want to make it appear then open file
"/usr/share/applications/hildon/flashlight-applet-launcher.desktop" in a text editor. Here find the line "NoDisplay=true".Remove this line or set it to false.Icon will now appear in menu and can be added to desktop.
