Please first read the Extras-devel disclaimer here
Package page: http://maemo.org/packages/view/imagesetmaker/
It's not optified, I will do that in a next version
************************************************** **************
NOTE: I consider this app obsolete, since I won't update it anymore.
I've done a major update to Image Set Maker, which is now called Wallpaeper (here).
I recommend uninstalling ISM and installing Wallpaeper.
Improvements:
* No more 800x480 resolution check
* Option to manually set filename
* Spaces are now allowed in set-name and file-name
* ...some more things
************************************************** **************
The app is not mindblowing, but it sure is handy!
It saves you from typing the .desktop file for wallpapers.
1. Set a name
2. Select pictures
3. Press the save button
And you can select your set in the "Change background" desktop menu right away
It saves in this format:
* Check if the loaded image is 800x480 pixels
* Previews of all selected images
* A copy button for using the same images multiple times
(Thanks to Bingley Joe for the feature request of using 1 image for all 4 screens!)
* Always saves in the default Images folder, with an overwrite prompt when needed
* Incomplete file protection, it only saves when everything is filled in
Screenshots!
You can copy an image: (multi-selectable)
(Thanks to Bingley Joe for this feature request!)
Or just select 4 different images, of course:
Wallpaeper - Desktop background manager (in Extras!)
Config Reader - Export all Gconf to an HTML file + compare feature (Extras-testing)
Even though these programs are available for free, I would appreciate any donations
