ive just got mynokia back from nokia direct after my local nokia repair centre sent it to them because of software problrms and the repair centre couldnt wipe the hard drive which is a bit worrying especially as i now know how to do it !

ive come to try syngic today and my gps doesnt seem to work ive tried on nokia maps and i get a data position which is miles off so i tried gps only and once again gps didnt get a lock despite the sky being clear and me waiting 30 mins

question is does anyone know if a repair centre can repair the gps in house i know they do the gps fix on n97s or is it best to send back to nokia direct ?

im not impressed as i thought the n900 was better than the n97

Did you have assisted-GPS?

I can't get my N900 to get a fix with all sky around me unless I have use assisted GPS.

yes agps does seem to work but its no good on sygic ... let sygic do gps search it stayd at zero satelites hence why i think the gps is faulty ..... also turmed off agps on nokia maps get no fix
