Hi everyone

I just got a new N900 and much to my dismay, I can't connect to my window 7 PC. Ovi Suite doesn't help and keep saying that the phone is in Mass Storage mode when it's not. I also tried to install the drivers manually, but it doesn't work. Do anyone have a working Window 7 driver for the N900 I can download? It would be much appreciated.

you might want to completely removing/uninstall all of nokia's usb connectivity drivers and reinstall ovi suite completely as it works when I was going from nokia pc suite to ovi.

somehow the old nokia usb drivers conflicts with the ones on ovi suite, best to remove all usb drivers for your handset or based on any old pc suite drivers and reinstall ovi

OVI Suite wont work with it mate, you need PC Suite, i use it on a daily basis for internet connection from my N900

Ok! I kind of got it to work by removing all software, then it just connect right out of the box but only in mass storage mode. PC Suite still doesn't work unfortunately.

It has worked for me and it should work for you too. I have seen my N900 working with both PC-Suite and Ovi Suite with Windows 7.

Remove all earlier Nokia related drivers AND ALSO remove the Ovi/PC-Suite software and then re-install Ovi/PC suite back.

Btw, are you not getting "PC-suite Mode" and "Mass Storage Mode" as options on your N900 when you connect the device to Windows 7?
