I like this app. I can play youtube videos smooth in high quality, which I can't do with the normal youtube site. 720p and 1080p doesn't work with HD videos, because the N900 resolution is 840x480. It would be nice if there was an option to select 480p instead of 360p so we can use the highest quality available for the N900.

I was watching a video using the Full Screen mode, but when it finishes, it starts to play another one.

How do I back to normal screen mode?

Is it possible you make telephone to keep the background light on? It's kinda annoying you watch the video and light goes off.

Sorry guys have not had much time to work on this. Here is another release with some minor improvements:

Release 1.1-maemo2:

* Start minitube with stylesheet
* Add Gnome icons
* Disable QT Menubar
* Temporarily disable Statusbar
* Run fullscreen without Maemo status bar.
* Add Maemo5 orientation support. Video still misplaced.
* Increase startDragTime to 1000 ms. DnD and flick still don't mesh.
* Temporarily disable DND
* Change 'Escape' key actions to 'Q'

QT, Phonon, and Gstreamer experts please jump in an help fix problem with video on rotation.

Installed it with dpkg -i and did a short test.

It won't play all the videos in the list and skips to the next one if it doesn't. Probably has something to do with codec used on youtube.

There's a small glitch in the select of the videos. For some reason if you click on the 'cover' it selects more than one video. See attached screen.

how do u install this, i tried the deb file but the n900 said it was incompatible?
i installed the previous version fine though, however it had no sound so hopefully it will be fixed in this release

I, too, had this problem. It said it was an incompatible package. Out of curiousity, why don't you submit it to testing or the devel repository(especially since you're considering this a 1.1 release, which I would imply is stable)?

Otherwise, I'm really glad to see that someone brought this over, I love using this app on my HTPC(looks so much better and it runs faster), so I can imagine I'll have to same experience with this app. Thanks a lot!

For those getting the Incompatible Application package error I assume you were using Application Manager while I used dpkg
so didn't see the problem. Released 1.1-maemo3 which makes
the deb App Manager compatible.
