Hello,

is there any possibilty to add a Picture when wiriting sms?

When I write a sms to a contact of mine, there is always shown the picture i gave the contact.

But at the messages, i've sent stands only "me" is there anypossibilty to add a picture infront of that?

Greetings and thank you.

Do you mean you want to have our avatar in the sms threads?

If so yes it can be done. Go to the customize conversations thread. About the 3rd or 4th page in someone puts the instructions on how to do this and has uploaded the files you need.

Thanks, that was what I searched for.

But the Themes which were posted there weren't like i wanted.

So I changed them so, that they look like the standart one with the only change, that the own avatar ist shown.

So here is what you have to do, if you want it also:

(0. make a backup of the original files! ^^)
1. place a picture with 60x60 in /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html/ named "avatar.png"
2. replace the files in /usr/share/rtcom-messaging-ui/html/ with the one in the attachment.
3. reboot
Attached Files
File Type: zip html.zip (22.5 KB, 103 views)

Thanks for that,

But before i try it can i confirm that the avatar.png goes in the same folder as the replacement html files (after being unpacked)?

html folder

Sorted it

Yep works fine,

I used filebox to move folders around and to copy/paste files into the desired location much easier with that app than others i have tried.
