This i my version of an oh scrap

And here an example of how my ZAGG screenprotecter did screw up my pressure sensitivity... really strange? The strokes that spreads out is when i apply 'hard' pressure and the others is with 'normal' pressure (maybe a bit lighter than normal). So i've got a workaround the pressure issue and can keep my screen protector on and stil draw

@Tedri Mark ... nice start.. more.. please!

@Dousan - very very nice drawing!
and...

.. it is very much "normal"..
if you are using my brushes? eg. "Black Smooth" and "Normal Pencil".

I have made those brushes that if you are using your "finger=hard pressure" you can shade your drawings.. with those spread out strokes.

@Tone i'm amazed every time you post something new here, very gifted and i really like your realisme, well your style

Ohh i see, i'm using your set and pressure sensitivity settings. The odd thing is it's mostly in the middle and to the right on my screen it spreads out? Nice to know it's not the Zagg screen

And thanks, i try to draw as much as i can (as time allows) and this app makes it some what better and easier to do and correct if it looks odd or just ugly

Let's keep up the doodling

@Tone

Hey, I finally got the n900 and love it!

Since you have some knowledge about brushes I thought I ask you if you know how I can add or replace the brushes with some I made for the windows version of mypaint. Or perhaps they don't mix?

In what folder do I put the new brushes and do I need to edit some config or order file? I use Filebox with root access so I hope I don't need to use terminal to do this.

// EDIT:
I have now replaced the original ones with my own set which worked. But the pressure settings for each brush was set to zero for some reason so I had to manually enter those again.

What I now wonder is, how do i set the catagories, cause they still show the old brushcatagories even when i replaced the config file.
Are those set in some other place?

Heips!

Hmm.. I do not know how to explain.. but I try..

I have put my brushes to the
Code:
/home/user/.mypaint/brushes
-folder.
(This is folder where all new users brushes are stored, I think?)
(same is true about backgrounds -folder)

There is also order.conf -file in brushes -folder and mine looks like this..

Code:
# this file saves brush groups and order
Group: Tone's Brushes
TK_Wet_Sketcher_1
TK_New_Blending_Tint_1
TK_New_Sketch_Ink_1
and so on..
You can edit and make those groups more if you want..
just edit the file.
----------------------------------------------------------
I do not understand why your brushes pressure sensitivity do not work correctly
----------------------------------------------------------
And last my workflow with making brushes to the MyPaint for N900
as follows these steps.

1. I make new brushes with N900 MyPaint.
2. I copy /home/user/.mypaint/brushes -folder to my computer's (.mypaint -folder)
3. I launch MyPaint on my desktop computer and test those brushes and maybe I change some brush order here.
4. I make proper brush Icons with Photoshop.
5. Then I check .mypaint/brushes folder order.conf -file again in my workstation.. and I transfer this brushes -folder to the back to the N900.

Plaah.. I hope that helps a bit.

And I am waiting your new doodles

Ah, that helps alot. I open it up with windows notepad, only to see one long string of letters. Now I opened it with wordpad instead and got the nice formatting you just gave an example of. I understand how it works now.

As for the settings gone missing it is only the extra custom settings for pressure (and also speed btw) and their graph. Those found in connection to each setting. For instance. You can set the radius right. But then you have another panel for pressure and speed settings connected only to the radius and it is those settings and their custom graph that gets set to standard.

Perhaps this is a bug. Opacity seems to work fine, but not radius/smear with pressure. Weird
