I kid you not my N800 was underwater for 30 seconds playing Mp3's.
I use my N800 to play music when I go fishing like always, but this time my N800 got tossed into a lake by a sudden gust of wind. I had it on a chair then the chair and my N800 landed in a lake. You know when something like this happens I was so far away from my N800 I watch my baby take a huge dive into a fishing lake. I ran over to get the chair then I notice my N800 was in 2 feet of water still playing facing up still playing. My N800 had to underwater for atleast 30 secs. I then jumped into the lake ( clothes and all) and snatched it up. When I took it out of the water it was still playing so I quicking removed the battery and dried it off. After 10 hours of drying it out I then returned the battery and what do you know It works fine. Nothing wrong with the LCD or memory cards.
So if anyone is worried of getting your N800 a little wet don't be. Mine was at the bottom of a fishing lake still playing music for 30 seconds with no issues. I do not recommend testing this butt I thought I would share this with everyone since it is nice to know they can get wet and still keep kicking.
I was soo worried I would be buying a new one (350$ later) but nothing is wrong with mine. Tell you the truth I have dropped this bad boy 2 times on its head and it still keeps kicking.
Just thought I share this with everyone......
