"How do you know it worked?
On the ps3, there should be a new option, under Game called: Install Packages.

Backup Manager: (Working!!)
You can get the backup manager from here:
http://www.pandawillforum.com/redire...&goto=lastpost

Put on a USB and plug it in to the PS3 now. An option will show to install it. Do so.
Launch the Backup Manager. Preferably with a game inside your PS3
"

please clarify this, after succes see install package under Games, then you download Backup Manager from here http://www.pandawillforum.com/redire...&goto=lastpost
then put it on any USB hard driver and put it on the root folder not under any subfolder or anything right? then plug that USB HDD in then PS3 will recognize the USB HD and then install the backup manager, then once it installed you can unplug the USB HD and start to back up or play from backup, but the N900 must constantly plugin all time ?

and btw what is up with NTFS that i saw you guys were talking about ?

If you place the old hdd to a new ps3 you are asked to format it and can't recover your game saves or any other data, including game data and even photos, because it is encrypted to a given ps3 system. : (
i had the same prob. 70hours of pain progress not to mention my 100+ hours on fallout!! ps3 brokedown. so now i backup once a week to usb stick. i sleep a little better at night.

It's quite weird. Hmmm. I noticed that If you actually see the notification message that says "charging". then the driver is not running.

Did you get any error messages at any point? while running the script?
