Just tried Soul Caliber on my PS3. It works but I think I might wait a few more weeks until JB and BM is improved.

I used the patched psfreedom.ko for power kernel posted in this thread.
Then used PixelJunk Monsters Demo stealth version of backup manager.

Game launches fine but when it tries to install its update, it downloads the update without issues but it fails to install the update. If I skip the update, game does launch and I can play single player wihtout issues. Maybe other games work fine with installing updates?

I wish it had auto shutdown feature once backup finishes.
I also would like it to show how much disk space each backup is using.

Anyways, I recommend you to have 2 harddisks. 1 clean and one with BM installed. I've read that you can have multiple hdds and switch between them without issues. (as long as they are initialized from the same ps3 unit) BM is installed on the hdd and I believe there is no trace on the ps3 itself if you boot it up with a clean hdd and without jailbreaking.

You might some problems getting PS3 to boot up JBroken if you have got a micro SD in the N900 inserted. Best call is to place the psfreedom files in the root of the hard drive which is the "/" folder.

Have anyone heard anything about banned Jailbroken PS3?
I read this here, it is pretty scary.

Update: Actually, scratch most of this… The cited source is full of nonsense. The bans haven’t started yet. I’d still consider another PS3 though, because you know Sony is going to make a move sooner or later.

Hmm.. I'm not keen to get another PS3 lol.Not really keen to get banned either. My PS3 is one special unit hard to find in it's condition, 60G PAL PS3. I'm sure this hack will still work in the next firmware. As long there is a PS Jailbreak team then there is no way this will stop working. Just take a look at the iPhone Jailbreak Team.

Unless Sony constantly releasing firmware every week to stop this.

Ok, so I have a PS3 fat 60 GB, I've already done everything, yet, the install thing doesn't appear on my ps3. How fast do you need to hold the eject button?

Update : Was able to make it work. Copying BlazBlue continnum shift.

1/14 of a second a part to make it work.
Hold the eject until you hear the fan then let it go.
