If it's true what Samsung is claiming in this processor Intel needs to step up there game if they want people to consider atom chips for mobile phones.


That being said, we're still months away from this chip coming out, by then we'll prob start seeing some ti cortex a9 chips.

Hopefully the n9 will be one of the first devices to ship with this chip.


Just playing devil's advocate, how does this compare with tegra 2 chip.

Personally i'd take any one of these chips right now, orion, tegra 2 or ti omap omap 4430 or 4440 for the n9 and wouldn't complain at all about it.

hello high spec phones goodbye portability.... I wouldn't be shocked now if phones 1 year from now would be the size of a psp and 3 year after would be the size of the good old walkie talkie
