i noticed that the headphones that come with the n900 have a wide base on their bottom part (right before the black gum/plastic)
its wider than the rest of the jack.

i noticed that quite some time ago, but didnt think about it.
the other day i wanted to use the headphones with my ipod. due to the base, the headphone wont fit the ipod. it prevents the jack to completely enter headphone port.
that alone wouldnt be too bad, but the ipod fails to outpot proper sound because of that. its like you put any other headphone-jack only half way in.

whats up with that?
