Any ideas?

I've taken out the internal 8 gig card - nyet, taken out the battery for a few minutes - nyet - just sits at the Blue Nokia ona White Screen.

Once in a while - if I leave it on all night, it'll be back on in the am, but ...

How do you hard reset these buggers?

Pretty much. It's been slow booting up and locking up (the browser) for awhile - I remember thinking after I'd installed something that it seemed slower, but I can NOT remember what it was.

Yes you are right, took out the cards, battery etc no help. The browser had locked up the whole thing, when I pulled the battery for about 3 minutes and then the sucker wouldn't boot back up.

Didn't remember that I could flash without it booting up, so I did this morning and reloaded a backup - a month old - but had most of what I had set up.

I KNOW it is a piece of software - as, like said earlier, I remember loading something and thinking how much slower it was, (this was alos about the time I added an 8gb HC SD card, BUT for now it's booting up within a minute and running dandy, so....

This thread is the most active of these three.

Do you have videocenter, kagu and/or a2dp installed?

Please reply in the other thread so that everybody knows what's going on.

Why do people here keep stating that?

It's good to only have one thread for an issue, and since you are experiencing the exact same issue as several others, and there were several other threads going when you started yours, you should have simply replied in the most popular of those others.

There are others who might be much more willing to help you out if you simply replied to another similar thread, stating your issue. And, others might also be reluctant to help you if you don't search before starting your new thread.

So, in short, search before posting, read through the relevant threads, try those suggestions to see if they work, then post in the relevant threads if there is still an issue. It makes things easier for people interested in helping you. So, again, you should post here with your issue.
