I am a newbie here and to N800. I saw some posts mention about using RS-MMC to be the boot drive. Why RS-MMC? what is the advantage point of RS-MMC to SD?

If I remember correctly, the terminology MMC is a hangover from the 770, which used RS-MMC not SD cards. The N800 supports both.

The N800 uses SD, not RS-MMC. The 770 uses RS-MMC. And no, there are no advantages at all using RS-MMC on a device the size of an internet tablet (indeed there are only downsides), which is why Nokia switched to SD on the newer N800 internet tablet.

regarding the poster of #2 , why is it that people like that feel the need to be a prick when someone asks a question. yeah theres a search button big damn deal. if someone asks a me a question on how to do something or whatever then i give them the answer to the best of my knowledge , where as wankers like that feel the need to be on some power trip.

It would have been simpler and quicker to answer the question--or not, of course--than to type out the cranky response. Get some medication or therapy.
