Never mind I installed the GUI version psfreedom and then used WinSCP to copy the patched ''psfreedom.ko'' to the folder

/opt/psfreedom/modules/omap1

It's now working for me with the option to load my backups etc. can't wait for all the homebrew which will soon come

I read here:

http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...433#post806433

Modifying PSFreedom-GUI App to enable Backup Manager operation:

Using the WinSCP you configured earlier. Transfer and replace the .ko files on your N900 in:

/opt/psfreedom/modules/omap1
/opt/psfreedom/modules/power40

With the ones extracted from these: (RESPECTIVELY)

PSFreedom For Stock Kernel: (Patched For Backup Manager)

PSFreedom for Power Kernel: (Patched For Backup Manager)
http://talk.maemo.org/attachment.php?attachmentid=13527

Proceed to the very bottom of this post for getting Backup Manager.
If this is what you mean by bd emulation?

You're all doing it wrong (even if it works)
(Hint: /lib/firmware)
I'll add a GUI option in the next release, you can even do peek and poke syscalls

you can remove the phone once the ps3 booted
you got to plug it each time you are booting
