Hey there --

I'm having trouble search the forum (or the Web in general) on this topic because the terms are so generic. So here goes:

New n800 owner, extremely pleased so far. Slightly Linux literate, not having much trouble with the configs etc.

Three questions:

In the Media player, how do I edit the name of an Internet radio stream?

In the Images viewer, how do I alter the default directory from /Images to (for example) a directory on one of my SD cards?

Is there an application which will allow me to have a rotating background image in the Home? I've got a custom image now, but I'd like it to use a selection if possible.

Thanks!

As far as I know, you can't do this in Media Player. No idea why. The streams seem to only get their name from their server, as the first time you enter a stream address there's no name assigned to it, but when you first use it successfully the name appears automatically.

Again, I don't think you can. You can look in other directories of course by clicking on "Images" in the bottom left corner, but I don't know any way to permanently alter which directory appears there.

You might want to find another photo viewer:

Don't know of any, but who knows what's out there...

That's mildly frustrating. Thank you very much for the answer!

On the rotating image, how often did you want it to change? I'm just wondering if an animated gif might work...
