ive got a lot of trash on my n900 and im not able to delete it so my question is:
is there a way to just delete the stuff on my n900 NOT all the apps,sms,options and so on? i DONT want to reflash it... but can i just right click it in windows and format it?

anybody has to know if u just can format it in windows
i mean its just 27 gig so the important stuff should be safe?

yes u can format ur 32gb nd it wont harm ur installed apps,games,sms etc etc

Search wiki for reflashing guide - http://wiki.maemo.org/Reflash. Basically, there are two flash storage which could be reflashed - root file system (root FS) - 256MB and eMMC - 32GB which includes 27G of MyDocs. kernel is not needed to reflash.

It is a nuclear option. There are a lot of smaller options but that requires understanding what did you do and so.

so i shouldnt do it via windows format?
