You're right, SD69. There's no way. We'd see Sprint logos all over the place if so.

That and the fact the silicon has not even been validated yet.

Dont worry it doesn't have a picture of the n810. In fact whatever information was there it is already cited here.

Not in Europe, the N800 is really expensive here, like all electronics. We never had a price cut, and even the 770 still costs about $400 in most of the places that sell it.

(EDIT: I just checked Verkkokauppa again and the N800 has just been cut from €399 to €269. Something is definitely afoot.)

Mind you, the tablets have never really sold that well in Europe, they seem to be far more popular in the USA. This is exactly the opposite to how Nokia phones sell.

I think Maemo.org has already stated that Chinook will work on N800 hardware as well as future tablet hardware. Can't find the link though...

Seems unlikely, Nokia hasn't submitted any Wimax tablets to the FCC for approval. If they had, we would have seen the details posted all over the internet.

Actually, the price for the N800 went down pretty drastically over the weekend at some german online shops, from around 340 Euro last week to 230 today (and this is with 19% value added tax included):

How do you know? I live in the Netherlands and the only place where you can get the internet tablets is in the Nokia online shop (or ebay), Nokia isn't releasing any sales information, so how do you know if the tablets aren't selling well?

By the way this new tablet IS very expensive: 100,- euros more than the N800 when it was released. I think they will be adding GPS and navigation software, those are expensive and that would explain the extra amount.

I'm wondering about the small increase in number. For me 800 -> 810 seems like a typical numbering for a small update. I'm guessing this device will mainly fix most of the little things that have been bugging us, but not add that much new stuff.
