Hello,

We developed some application. We are trying to create debian packaging.

We are facing problem in creation after adding the images which will provide a way to launch that application from GUI.

We created one hello1.desktop. We added necessary things in scr/src.pro file. We are getting "cannot read debian/control: No such file or directory" from all commands dh_testdir, dh_* (i mean all dh commands giving the same error).

We tried in google. We got information it is because of improper cleanup.

Could anyone help us to get rid of this problem by suggesting how to proper cleanup? If anybody require complete procedure i would like to post it.

Did you create a debian/ folder with all the files needed for packaging (control, changelog, rules)?

Actually the command dh_make should create that debian folder for you with some templates inside of it (including the control file). Most of them you won't use except typically control, changelog and rules.
