like when nitdroid will be out of the experimental stage with a for dummies installer
like when functional meego will reach our shores

seems like any good news is and has been in rumor/limbo land for some time.

good news -

you've probably got cake!
if you get all the candles out in one blow you get a wish! (new nitdroid installer, hint hint!) :P
you have an awesome device with ridiculous modding potential regardless of nokias intent to package more mods and call it pr 1.3
you were canny enough to avoid being recruited into the cult of apple.
nitdroid may be alpha, but its better than nothing and improving all the time, alpha nitdroid beats no nitdroid every time!
jiggly sites work rather well on n900

I got an iPhone 4 at work and don't like the form factor at all. The edges give me cramps in my hand.
The N900 is just sooo smooth :-)
