Heya, trying out Claw Mail and I really like it. It sets up really easy but I have a few bonse to pick.

First of all, there are emails showing up that I've deleted months ago. As am atter of fact, all my e-mails since i started that account show up.

Now, when it gets to the 112 of the 140th e-mail, it locks up and usually the n770 will turn itself off. However, the e-mails that I do have, view very nicely and I am otherwise very pleased.

Any help is appreciated.

First off what sort of e-mail account are you using with it, POP or IMAP?

If it's a POP account then it's likely that you have your normal (PC) mail software set to "leave mail on server".

If it's IMAP then you are probably making messages for deletion but not purging them.

I have a (problably total n00b) question:

If I check my email (POP gmail account) with Claws, and then later check it with Thunderbird (mozilla's outlook version) on my PC, I don't get the emails on my PC.

Is there a setting somewhere in Claws to keep the emails in gmail "unread" so I can download with Thunderbird too?

(I have the setting in Claws now to leave the emails on the server, so that's not it)

TIA

Edit: I might have it figured out - there's a setting in gmail to allow POP for all email - even those that have been downloaded. Gonna try that.
