hello guys.
i have seen some interesting behavior with my n900.
i tried to erease some of my old pics but i can't.
15 minutes after that i get some status info(in a yellow bar)
that because of some kind of issue my whole phone is write protected and i should connect to a pc to solve this.
the really scary is that every task which reads or writes data is crashing like camera.
anyway.
i solved the problem with some xterm commands and a reboot.
but i would really like to know why this happend.
some suggestions?
thanks

Install rootsh from app manager, open Xterminal en type this:

root
umount /dev/mmcblk0p1
fsck -y /dev/mmcblk0p1
mount /dev/mmcblk0p1 /home/user/MyDocs

Overclocking can dramatically increase the chances of filesystem corruption. Are you overclocking?

my guess would be a program crashing whilst performing I/O intensive tasks (i.e. installing an app, downloading a torrent)

no.didn't have installed a app or downloadet a torrent.
but it is happened again.i could make a pic but i couldn't save something on my n900.
just 'the storage is write-protected' came up.
but i did the xterm commands another time and now its working again.
but it looks bad.
i think i better make a backup cause i smell that a flash is coming....
