Well

After lots of headache and thinking. here is the information to all of you.

read all then say anything

Nokia N900 PR 1.2 has no bugs regarding Nokia messaging. It is the change and update of Nokia messaging server which showed this abnormal behavior

I thought it was N900 fault or bug before but then i signed up for the new account on Nokia messaging on My E63. The server address that i got was brandnew and it seems they moved to a bigger capacity servers as number of servers has reduced.

Anyway with new account i attempted the Nokia messaging setup on my 3G and it is working since then for past 1 week without any problem.

the problem was with nokia messaging servers changes.So try it.

well, i've deleted my nm email both on the phone, via email.nokia.com, readded from both, and stupid thing is still prompting me for my password all the time.

wtf.

same here. keeps asking for password like every 5 mins. so annoying

yea, not getting push email = i'm leaving. probably going win pho 7 in the next several months. the n900 was the last chance i was going to give nokia after decades of loyalty.

do this,

login to nokia messaging
http://email.nokia.com/account/home.action

when your in "My account" click "remove" to remove the account

sign off the website, goto your phone, redo the setup for nokia messagining, and it should work. it worked for me

After having my phone replaced (I was without it for about a month) I'm now having the same problem, and I can't even get onto the login page of the nokia messaging site to try the 'deleting and recreating my account' fix. Is anyone able to click on the 'Log In' button on there?

You can get onto the website now, I created a new account and it seems to be working fine.

My nokia messaging account suddendly started working again today. I've had the password problem for two months
