It looks impossible to get a network connection between computer and N900, because there is editing on device needed. I can't edit anything without to see what I do.
Did other people have same problems with TV-out and the keyboard LEDs? Could they solve them?
Is TV-out somehow related to the LCD display? Could the broken LCD cause the narrow stripe?

the tv out is not related to the lcd. you have defo done more damage than you think

sounds like display controller is broken?
If both LCD and TV-out are broken, the fault must be "deeper" than in LCD.

LCD is physically broken. But the touchscreen is intact. I get vibrating response when I touch it.
I hope TV-Out is a software problem. I try different images right now.

Now I lost TV-out completely (only black screen). I installed eMMC now. When I start it I hear two times the Nokia tune. Is this normal for a new installed image? Is there a welcome message or something like this? Or a date time dialog?
I can call the phone right now but its not ringing and I can't accept the call.
Edit: I give up. Have to buy new one.

Now the device is recognized by windows as removable media. It runs also the Nokia tune when started up. But I tried to connect it to a TV and there was only a horizontal stripe of small height displaying a part of the default background of Maemo, If i try to move the desktop to a side the image on the TV does not move.
Another thing is that the corners of the keyboard are lighted up directly after inserting battery. The light stays on as long as battery is inserted, even if the keyboard is closed. The remaining lights work normally, they switch state by opening/closing the keyboard.
The light-problem i noticed first after flashing the combined image.
How could I be sure everything will work fine if I replace the LCD display? Are there some tests i could do?
