did you forgot to press shift while dragging? no need for hover mode if I remember correctly.

ossipena, i know that one is using keyboard mode... i tot all the while i can use hover mode... never mind, maybe is i remember wrongly

I just realised it's the same to copy text out of XTerm

I found this a while back before it even included in the manual. I think my findng made a useful thing haha. good that slender still remembered it.

not sure if the same problem exactly, but suddenly my n900 not able to highlight text at all. shift key works for capitalizing letters but highlighting text with SHIFT + LEFT/RIGHT-Arrows not working. I also installed a bunch of devel programs yesterday and think one of those might have caused the issue. Scim for one.

i just uninstalled ''anthy'', a japanese text input program, and highlighting works again. fwiw. i had also previously disabled the scim stuff in Settings and then rebooted, which did not help.
