In PR 1.3, the LED flases red if the front camera is turned on. Turn on the front camera (maybe with the mirror app) and see if the LED glows red.
Anyway after doing all this I rebooted and tried to update from the App Manager but the update did not show up. I checked in settings and it claims I'm running version 20.2010.26-2.002. From what I've found on the internet this is pr 1.3 not pr1.2. So it looks like despite its warnings it somehow installed pr 1.3.
Is there any way the installer could have updated the version number without actually installing the software? It seems very odd that it managed to install the software without me noticing somehow. Is there any other way to check which version of Maemo I'm running? Are there any smoking guns for pr 1.3 that I can check (i.e. not its a bit faster but an actual visible change in some app)?
Thanks for you help!
