Ok since only OTA update retains your apps and data...
Is there anyway to download that 85MB update from app manager separately?
I'm not talking about 170MB update from NSU or Nokia site..

I want to know if there's anyway to download the OTA update then install it offline.. Because i have a bad connections.. thanks

Go to X-Term and run

apt-get -d install --reinstall -d mp-fremantle-002-pr

Replace 002 with your product number, "002" is for USA. You can find it in Settings/about the product. Answer "y" to questions and don't worry that it is "going to install" - the parameter "-d" prevents installation.

Look package ".deb" files in /var/cache/apt/archives

One more thing,
I looked up in "About Product"
but couldn't find 3 digits number just like 002 that you mentioned..
Is it part of the IMEI? If so which one?

I tried 002 (USA), 003 (Middle East & North Africa), 203(UK), 004 (India) and MR0 (Global) which

And It says

002, 003, 203, 004 : Package mp-fremantle....is not available but is referred to by another source, this may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted , or is only available from another source

MR0 ; Couldn;t find the package mp-fremantle..

Strange because Global should work on my phone.. I'm from Indonesia btw and i use global to flash PR1.2 before

Tried a lot of numbers, Still no luck so far
Why can't they just let us choose which image to use anyway?
Not all users want to wipe out their N900 app completely

Last number in line "Version".

My has "Version: 20.2010.36-2.002" and "002" is that.

It's "MR0" but it doesn't work,like i said above,
It says "Couldn;t find the package mp-fremantle.."
